2000 | The Beginning of Union Tec

In June 2000, the company began operations as “Union Kikaku Co., Ltd.,” specializing in interior finishing work such as wall coverings and flooring.

2002–2009 | From Construction to Design

In 2002, the company began production and management services, primarily for shops and offices. In 2004, the company changed its name to “Union Tec Co., Ltd.”, followed by the launch of its design business in 2005 and graphic design business in 2009. Building on its roots in construction, Union Tec expanded its capabilities into planning and design.

2016–2021 | New Challenges and a Renewed Focus on Space Creation

In 2016, Union Tec launched a platform business for the construction industry, which was spun off into a separate company in 2021. Following this, Union Tec refocused on space creation, centered around interior planning, design, and construction.

2022 | The Birth of Union Tec Vietnam

In June 2022, Union Tec established its Vietnamese subsidiary, “Union Tec Vietnam Co., Ltd.” A new base was created to connect the expertise in space creation developed in Japan with Vietnam’s creative talent.

2022 | Creating New Possibilities from Da Nang

In September of the same year, Union Tec partnered with Suganuma Group and Da Nang Architecture University to launch a designer development project in Vietnam. Today, Union Tec Vietnam operates primarily from Da Nang, providing architectural CG rendering, architectural design, and interior design services.

Bringing Together the Strengths of Japan and Vietnam.

Since our founding in 2000, Union Tec has expanded its expertise from construction to design and space creation.

In 2022, our journey of new challenges expanded to Vietnam.

Based in Da Nang, Union Tec Vietnam brings together members from Japan and Vietnam, combining their skills and creative perspectives to create new spaces.

Moving forward, we will continue working as a team across borders to bring “Build a new standard.” to life.
