A Workplace of Encounters and Discoveries, Like a Journey

Inspired by the company's vision, "Making Travel More Meaningful Through Investment," this workplace was designed to evoke the same sense of discovery, curiosity, and unexpected encounters found in a journey.

Rather than treating circulation as a space simply for movement, the design reimagines it as a place where people naturally gather, interact, and exchange ideas. The workplace encourages communication by transforming everyday movement into opportunities for connection.

The Concept: The Path as a Social Space

The circulation route connecting the office's two core areas is redefined as the Path—not merely a corridor, but a vibrant social space where people naturally meet and interact.

Pocket spaces are thoughtfully integrated throughout the Path, inviting employees to pause, stay, and engage in conversation. These informal gathering areas encourage spontaneous encounters and casual exchanges that can spark new ideas and inspire creativity.

The spatial layout intentionally avoids revealing the entire office at once. Instead, each turn along the Path unveils a new destination, creating a continuous sense of anticipation and discovery reminiscent of traveling.

By designing a workplace that encourages exploration and embraces the excitement of the unknown, the office brings fresh inspiration and new perspectives into the everyday work experience.

In contrast to the open and collaborative Path, the workplace also features Focus Zones—calm and private spaces designed for concentration, reflection, and deep work.

The contrast between the dynamic Path and the tranquil Focus Zones defines the character of the workplace, creating a balanced environment that supports both collaboration and focused individual work while accommodating a variety of working styles.
